End Of An Era: Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Died at 93

I am sure that, Atal Bihari Vajpayee does not need any introduction at all. He was born on December 25, 1924, in Gwalior. He was an Indian politician belongs to Bharatiya Janata Party. He has served three times as an Indian Prime Minister. He bagged two prestigious awards namely Patmashri and Patmabushan. Due to his age and several health issues, he was admitted to AIIMS hospital on June 11, 2018. Since from June 11, he has been under the watchful eyes of AIIMS doctors and support staffs. His condition continued to decline for the last 36 hours.


He was put on life support system. The acting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other BJP leaders were visited the hospital to enquire and notice the health condition of Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji. His condition was said to be very critical from yesterday. Despite the best medical efforts by AIIMS doctors and support staffs, we have lost the former Prime Minister and Great Leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee on August 16, 2018. The AIIMS hospital disclosed this news through a press release. In that, press release, it was stated that “we have lost our former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at 5.05pm regardless of best medical efforts”.


The acting Prime Minister visited the hospital at 7.15pm and met the doctors who treated Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The BJP party has been declared that Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s Mortal remains to be kept at the headquarters of BJP to let people do the honors to the great man for the last time. Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be accorded a state funeral, which will be held on August 17, 2018, in Delhi. The Government has announced that schools, colleges & Government offices will be closed today due to the death of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. National mourning for a week will be followed as a token of respect to the former politician and PM. During the 7 days, the national flag will be flown at half-mast all over India.
